PHILOSOPHY

The VCHS Library Media Center is designed for learning either independently, or as part of a class/group. As a student you are encouraged to use the Library Media Center to complete classroom assignments or to read independently. While collaboration is highly encouraged please be respectful of other students.

INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY

ID cards should be carried at all times. You will need your card to check out library materials or if you need help with a login/password. Materials checked out in your name become your responsibility and need to be protected from damage or loss. If materials are damaged or lost, you are required to pay for them. The Media Center also has an overdue fine policy for late materials: $.10/item/day. Return library items to the circulation desk.

Most items may be borrowed for four weeks and can be renewed multiple times.

VCHS Library Media Center has  much to offer!  If you have any questions or cannot find what you need, please ask.

MEDIA CENTER POLICIES

Please keep in mind that the Library Media Center is a facility for learning. During class time a Media Center Pass is required.
